Why Run Today isn't about pace, podiums, or PRs — though if that's your why, we're not here to talk you out of it. It's about everyone else too. The mid-pack. The back-of-pack. The person who signed up on a whim and the person who's been doing this for twenty years and still doesn't know why.

We follow real runners through the actual texture of training, racing, and showing up when showing up is the whole accomplishment. No forced motivation. No finish-line epiphanies. Just the question every runner eventually asks themselves somewhere around mile nine: why am I out here?

We don't have the answer. We just keep asking.
